In memory of Rachel, a devoted wife, loving daughter, kind big sister, loyal friend who is deeply missed by all who loved her. ⠀
⠀
Whether camping and hiking, shopping with girlfriends, swimming and golfing for her high school, or knitting a teddy bear for her baby boy, Rachel did everything with determination and joy. Although very serious about school, having graduated from high school with honors and finishing her college degree ahead of schedule, Rachel didn’t take herself too serious. She was definitely silly! Her personality certainly won the heart of her husband Michael. ⠀
⠀
Excited about a career in accounting and finance she was thrilled to have landed a job with a large firm in Indianapolis. However, soon after they were married they desired to be closer to family and Rachel decided to work at the family business. In fact, she worked up until the very last day before her baby would arrive. Rachel suffered from an AFE after giving birth to her son William. She was never able to see, hold, or even know their little miracle had arrived.⠀
⠀
Her passing has had an enormous effect on so many people. In her memory, a blood drive has been put on the last two years in their hometown for others to come and donate in remembrance of Rachel and raise awareness of AFE.⠀
