The introduction of technology and social media has allowed those affected by AFE the ability to connect and communicate with others from all over the world. We offer several groups on Facebook for those affected by AFE to share and seek comfort from one another. The support groups are described below. If you are not a member of Facebook and would like to connect with others, please contact us.
For privacy & protection, we require you to request membership by contacting our organization. Recently, Facebook changed Group settings and therefore we can no longer reach those requesting to join through FB Messenger. Please send your request to amy@afesupport.org and let us know why you are interesting in joining.

These group are not for advertising products, marketing for other groups, or raising funds for other organizations or causes. Posts which do not comply with this will be deleted without notice and the person making the posts will be banned. This group is for opinion only. Please consulting a medical professional prior to making any health decisions.
- AFE Foundation Grieving Family Support Group
For family members who have lost a loved one to AFE. This group provides a forum for sharing in grief, seeking comfort, and asking questions of others in similar circumstances. Our hope is that this group will prove helpful in the days, weeks, months and years following your loss. This group was established and is moderated by the AFE Foundation. It is a closed group, meaning members’ posts are only visible to the other members of the group, and not to the public.

For fathers who have lost a spouse or partner to AFE, this group provides a forum for sharing in grief, seeking comfort, and asking questions of others in similar circumstances. Our hope is that this group will prove helpful in the days, weeks, months and years following your loss. The group is a closed group to ensure the members posts are only available for others members to see. This group was established and is moderated by the AFE Foundation.

For survivors of AFE who wish to share in their experiences and connect with others. The group is a closed group to ensure the members posts are only available for others members to see. This group was established and is moderated by the AFE Foundation. - AFE Foundation Infant Loss Support Group
For those who lost a child while also experiencing an amniotic fluid embolism. The purpose of this group is to provide a private forum for support and a place to share your story. All posts are only accessible by current group members and all members will be screened by the group moderators in order to protect privacy. - AFE Foundation- Pregnancy after AFE Support Group
For anyone who is exploring the possibility of a pregnancy following AFE, those who are currently pregnant following AFE, or anyone who has already experienced pregnancy following AFE. The purpose of this group is to provide a private forum for support and a place to share your unique experience. All posts are only accessible by current group members and all members will be screened by the group moderators in order to protect privacy.
