The AFE Foundation was quoted by ABC News article ‘Miracle’ Woman Ruby Graupera- Cassimiro Survives After 45 Minutes Without Pulse.

The article shares more about Ruby’s miraculous and rare survival after suffering an amniotic fluid embolism (AFE) shortly after the birth of her daughter via c-section. Despite 45 minutes of aggressive life saving measures Ruby had no pulse. Just as doctors had given up hope and prepared to bring the family back to say good-bye, her heart began to beat.

Her story has been covered by nearly every major news organization including the Washington Post, Associated Press, and the Sun Sentinel. It has been read and shared by thousands across the globe.
